No matter the form, water beckons me. I crave for walks on the beach, underwater adventures and all sorts of water activities there is. Basically, any place with a body of water is a where I want to be in. The deep blue liquid always seems to hold me in a fluid hug and magically draws every bit of negativity out. So naturally, wakeboarding is one of bucket list item.
I don't think many are aware that wakeboarding is available in Singapore, or at least I didn't think it was possible. Fortunately, a friend of mine started his own wakeboarding company, WAKEMUSTERS.
If you're tired of hitting the gym and want something new for a change, wakeboarding is definitely the way to go! It works your core and limbs so much so that I died from muscle aches for the entire week after just a 2 hours session. But I must say, it was one of the best water sports I have ever experienced. That feeling you get when you finally mastered the art of balancing on the board, gliding and cutting through the waters is beyond amazing! And the sunset at Seletar is one not to be missed!
The best part is that lessons are pretty pocket friendly! Ranging from $50-$100 per person, rates are at $150 per hour per boat. Coaching, wakeboarding gears and life jackets are inclusive!
